Meet Nina
Grief and Transition Mentor
Calm Conversations offers a calm, confidential space for support while navigating grief and major life transitions.
My role is to listen - to offer emotional safety, a steady presence, and a place where you can feel heard during times that may feel uncertain or overwhelming.
Loss takes many forms, not only through death. It can arise through changes in relationships, health, work, identity, or the life you thought you were living.
This is a space where you can share your story at your own pace. I’m here to support you as you find your way through loss and make sense of what’s unfolding, in whatever form that takes for you.

Stories of Support
Support Sessions
I offer one-to-one conversations for adults navigating grief, loss, or significant life transitions. These sessions offer a calm, confidential space where you can speak openly, reflect, and feel emotionally supported - without pressure or judgement.
The work is offered as Grief and Transition Mentoring - a non-clinical, reflective space during times of loss and change. It's not counselling or psychotherapy, but a calm, compassionate place to talk, reflect, and feel heard.
We begin wherever you are, and move at a pace that feels right for you.

How Sessions Work
Sessions last 60 minutes and take place online, either by video call or by phone if you prefer. You're welcome to choose the format that feels most comfortable and supportive for you.
If you're considering your first session, please get in touch via the Contact to Book page with any questions you may have. I'll respond personally to discuss availability and pricing.
Once a booking is agreed, sessions are paid in advance. If you need to cancel or reschedule, at least 24 hours' notice is required.

Experience & Approach
My work is grounded in a people-centred approach, shaped by both lived understanding and professional experience. I have previously provided bereavement support within a counselling-based setting and undertaken specialist training in grief, loss and emotional support.
My experience includes structured bereavement support training, Grief First Aid training, and in-depth learning focused on grief counselling, psychology, and reflective support practices. I've also volunteered as a speaker, delivering talks on the impact of loss and life transitions to help build wider understanding of grief in its many forms.
I work with care, emotional sensitivity, and respect for each person's individual experience, within clear and ethical boundaries.
